REGENCY INKSTAND OR ECRIER
Regency figural ecrier or inkstand set upon a rectangular base with milled edges all around. The ecrier has a pin tray to front and back with inkwell to one side and sander to the other. There is a quill holder to each corner in the centre there is a figure of a naked putti with a walking stick in his hand and a woven basket strapped to his back. This basket is a match holder and strike.
