A very unusual and rare clock in the form of the front of a silver plated steam train emerging from a tunnel, the clock by Smiths inserted in the front of the boiler, a very detailed model with removable lanterns, working buffers, wheel brakes, etc. There is a plaque at the top of the tunnel with the date 1948, which would indicate that this was a presentation clock given to someone at the time of the nationalisation of the railways, under the date are the initials C.S. & N, as yet we have been unable to confirm which company these stand for, but are making further enquiries.Stock Number: gs106/sp10
