SILVER SINGING BIRD BOX BY GRIESBAUM

Solid silver singing bird box, by the firm of Griesbaum, This is a very unusual bird box with having decoration in high relief not only to the four sides and the top but also to the underside. The box operates by pressing the bird shaped slide on the right hand side of the box and the lid opens and the full bodied bird pops through the grille & begins singing. It has a moving beak, the bird turns, flaps his wings and tail and after his performance pops down through the grille & the lid lowers.
