A Beautiful French silver and blue glass box, the top inset with a lovely miniature painting of a young woman, the miniature painting is surrounded with silver swags and wreaths on top of a domed cover decorated with engine turning, the base of the blue glass liner has a heavy silver rim with egg and dart decoration, whilst the sides have flowing swags and rosettes. The silver stamped with mark G.A.S.
