A lovely antique 19th century etched glass shade for a storm lamp.
The diameter of the fitting is 2.7 cm.
Unfortunately, I used to have a pair of 19th century storm lamps with their original shades and to my great regret, I managed to break one of the shades. It wasn’t possible to have the remaining one copied and had to have two replacements made. This left this one and I have been looking for the last 10 years to find a 19th century storm lamp without its shade. You guessed it, I still haven’t, so I am offering this in case there is someone out there with the lamp looking for a period shade.
