Peepshow Pferde-Rennen (The Horse Race)
Folding concertina style, wood-engraved front panel on pink paper with oval viewing aperature, 5 other pierced etched and hand-coloured panels and a back panel, this backed with pink patterned paper, contained within the original pink paper slipcase, etched hand-coloured label, (worn and chipped, cracked down the centre, but still firm, upper panel of peepshow with fold line along the centre, some rubbing and finger-soiling, one fold repaired), n.d.
An interesting peepshow depicting a horse race in progress. The spectators, both military and civilian, line the course while horses goaded on by eager jockey speed past. In the background a refreshments pavilion, a band, carriages and sundry tents can be seen.
